Swage Fittings
Our swaged terminals are all made from European grade 316L stainless steel. We stock sizes from 3mm to 26mm as standard and larger sizes available on request with thread sizes from 1⁄4” UNF to 1-3/8” UNF. Metric thread swage studs are also available as standard.
All our fittings are machined from solid bar or are electrically upset-forged. We do not use any welds. The electrical upsetting process gives beneficial grain structure to eyes, stemballs and t-terminals, minimising internal stress levels to improve fatigue performance. All swaged fittings are supplied with a high quality polished finish. As all of our fittings are made in our UK facility we can provide custom, non-standard fittings quickly and cost effectively. Please contact our sales team with your requirements. Inspection certificates to BS EN 10204 3.1B and certificates of conformity are available on request.
NOTE: Throughout this website we use the following convention – the pin size is the smallest diameter hole that our pin will fit into, the hole size is the largest diameter pin that will fit in the hole. For example if we list a pin as being 12mm then the pin will fit into a 12mm diameter hole and conversely if we list a hole as being 16mm then a 16mm diameter pin will fit in the hole. If in doubt please ask.
